Yes
......just had a telephone call from a pro stuck for a chaperone for his female model on Saturday. Semi Nude outdoor shoot. I was a bit unsure at first, but he said it would be good experience and I get to take some shots with my kit and get to keep the copyright etc. The shoot takes place near a waterfall. I have said Yes. I have been told there will be some climbing to do but not the sort you need ropes for.

I do know the pro, as he took me for a freebie session in a portrait studio back in June. I may post some shots up here - obviously, some tasteful covered up shots. I am looking forward to it now.

Ohhh sounds like a good opportunity, best of luck :)

Thats greast Gilly. A great opportunity too. One to see how it all works, and two, free model time ;)

Cheers! Geoff (Hubby) begged to come along to 'carry my bag' yeah, right. Erm... NO!

you go for it, gilly

Sounds like a great opportunity, hope you pick up many new tips to share with us.

Just seen your gear list and its very similar to mine and wondered if you ever thought of replacing the 24-105 L with the 24-70L or 28-70L for your portait shots and wedding?

Seems like a model opportunity Gilly ;);)

Good luck with this, show us the images when you have them yeah.

I must admit, I use the 24-105L for the group shots. I hope to upgrade from the old 75-300mm to 70-200mm 2.8 IS around Xmas time. This I am hoping will grab those long informal portraits. For the posed portraits, I use the 85mm 1.8 - luverly lens. I am always open to suggestions though - thanks.

I shouldn't have mentioned my little photoshoot at work today. The guys are lining themselves up to drive me up there, carry my lunch, umbrella if it rains. Oh they are sooooo superficial. Good job I haven't mentioned to anyone w-h-e-r-e it is

Hmmm I'm just reading this thread and in another browser window looking at places in Brittany (France) to visit on holiday, one of which is Brest and the other is Quimper.

Coincidence? I think not.
