Setting off 2 Canon 430ex flashes

Im fairly out of sorts when it comes to flashes.
Im looking to fire an 430ex on camera and a 430ex off camera, what do i need in the way of trigger/recievers etc

You have a huge number of options. If they are the original 430ex's and not the II's you can fire them remotely, but not control the power. They have to be used on manual.

Take a look at Yongnuo (which I use and are great) or Cactus (which I have also used and are great).

I urge you to try and get both flashes off camera.

They can't. If you want auto-TTL and remote control, you need a Master unit on-camera. With some Canons the pop-up flash acts as Master, but assuming you're using 1D4 that's out.

Need more info really. What do you want to do? Auto-TTL or manual? Are those 430EX or EXII guns? Budget.

Hi Hoppy, why not the 622C's, for example?
