Had a quick search and couldn't find anything conclusive ( maybe was the way I searched) basically have finished uni till september so I have alot of spare time to get stuck back into the photography side of things. Basically need wondering if there is loads of very simple set ups that can be done using stuff in the house and local areas, to create a really good photograph. I have a d200, sigma 10-20, 20-70 sigma and 50mm nikon, don't have access to flash or anything but is there anything very simple but incredibly simple to set up ? Have searched google etc and basically a quick guide with pictures to show how to set up etc.

Apologise if this is a repost and has been asked before

Thanks in advance

If you want to shoot people Callum it's actually quite easy.

These were all done in a house. The first just on a sofa facing the window with one reflector. The second just natural light in a hallway and the third was the most complicated with a duver on the floor and one light which was just a softbox but you could use a lamp with a daylight bulb just as easily. Just make sure it is softened somehow and that could be as simple as a lampshade.

Hope that helps the inspiration! :)

Might just be me being silly but I can't find any, just like a small set up to take some photos of objects, some ideas for set ups that could be used, using stuff like small figures and card etc, couldn't see any

If you search for 50/50 (50 shots in 50 days with a nifty) then there are a few ideas that poeple have done. You mention figures, here is a friend of mine with his lego, he loves that stuff! Some of it needs flash but not all, I wish I had his inspiration (and time) to take shots.
