Sensor Cleaning?

Want to buy a sensor cleaning gizmo or kit. Artic Butterfly seems to be the one to go for or am I wrong? Any other recommendations or thoughts on what is the best Artic Butterfly system to buy? Hoping to pick one up pre-loved because it's obviously not something that will be used often but I have a couple of small bits of debris on my sensor now which I'm fed up Photoshopping out of shots

Just got my camera back from the repair centre after a sensor cleaning gone-wrong. £730 bill.

I had cleaned the sensor many times before, but somehow this time a scratch appeared. As you say, you won't need to do it often- Just send it away to have done.

The value of my D300 wouldn't justify a repair bill like that. Would also make the risk of damage less of a concern. Absolutely take your point though if it was a more valuable body.

Normal swabs and liquid is best

I use the Arctic Butterfly, its great for loose stuff but anything 'sticky' and you need swabs

I now have 2 cameras, one is my f2 and below, so pretty much any muck is invisible, the other is my - up to f11 - this one had the lens attached straight away I bought the camera and its not coming off
