Hi all,

Whilst cleaning the sensor on my 7d with sensor pads and fluid today i have managed to catch the corner of the mirror when taking the pad out. The upshot is i have left a few fibres 'caught' on the corner of the mirror mechanism. They don't seem to stick out far and i can't notice them on test shots. Is this something to worry about?

Annoyingly, there are still 2 dust sports i can't get rid of!

If they aren't affecting your photo's then i don't see any problems. Alternatively, you could take it to a repair shop if you can't get them out.

purchase an eye lash plucker and be very careful in plucking out those pesky fibres?

Did think about that. Is there anything else in the chamber that i could damage or is it just the sensor i've got to be really careful of?

If you are careful you should be ok.

Also make sure you get a set of plastic tweezers
