Hi folks

I've got a feeling that couriers don't like shipping large framed prints because of the danger of damage to the frame and/or glass. For a framed print about 32 x 24 size (frame + print) are there any couriers that are willing to do this, can be trusted, and don't cost the earth?

I think I'll just have to sell the print on its own in a cardboard tube from now on.

Thanks

Decent couriers should have no issues carrying out the job, but you do need to make sure you pay for the right cover on it that will cover any damage as accidents happen...a friend who does framing and will be doing a approx 38x16 inch frame for me soon uses UPS I think and it costs about £20 for postage and packing and he packs really well basically double packing for the added protection

Yep, the secret is in the packing

Thanks for the replies folks. Well, DHL quoted over £60 inc. insurance and ParcelForce will not insure items containing glass including photo frames. That only leaves UPS.
