I don't know if anyone is interested, but I was told about this the other day. I am in no way recommending them as employers or anything, but thought it was worth a post because it might be exactly what someone here is looking for.

If you live in or around London, you will probably heard of estate agents Foxtons. Theyare recruiting for a 'Protographer' - someone that can take pictures of properties and do room plans. From the job description, only part of the work is actually photography, the rest is measuring up and producing accurate floor plan drawings on a pc - training is given they say. Oh, and if you don't know, their company cars are Minis...complete with garish company livery ;)

lol. That's pretty much what I do, except for writing the descriptions. Bloody damn sight better package than I get too!

However, if I had to visit 4 properties a day and write descriptions as well as take photo's and draw floor plans it would be a nightmare. Including driving that gives you 2 hours per property. to floorplan an average semi takes 30-45 minutes, doesn't leave much time to take good photo's.........

Indeed. I may have considered it myself if they offered part time hours, as photography and graphics are my fav subjects, but I just can't do full time hours and help him run the family business :(

in fact ghandi, if your guys ever want a the same thing p/t in the north london/herts/beds area, giz a shout please. ;)
