Selling Prints Question

I was just wondering if I can get peoples opinions and experiences on where they sell their prints.

I've just started selling my own prints online via my website but was just wondering where else I can sell them?

Do people sell via cafe's and galleries? Is it as simple as politely approaching them with selection of images to show them to see if they are interested?

I sell mounted prints and calendars in craft shops, gift shops, cafes and visitor centres, I also attend craft fairs, vintage rallies etc.
