Complete and utter newbie here.....enjoy getting out when I can to take some pics but currently using a little Fuji camera which is well....simple and easy to use!
My background is rallying, usually from the side of I order pics as Im a co-driver/navigator on events all over the UK. I enjoy mountain biking and generally having a laugh.
After getting out with a few friends that are photographers I fancy treating myself to a decent camera hence the SLR pun as the title....cheers Rally-media!!!
Anyway I've been out looking and a shop has reccommended a new Nikon D3000 kit for £500. I like the feel of the camera and the fact it has a muppets mode so I can start shooting without asking what button I need to press. Does anyone have any advice on a decent camera?
I really only wanted to spend about £300 so a cheaper alternative would be great
Thanks and look forward to the comments or mick taking! :bonk:
