Self cling vinyl printing

Hi Neil, yes these need a laser printer or a UV capable printer.
A Ultra violet printer cures the ink with the UV lights as it prints.

Thanks for your reply Simon. I will explain what I did for the benefit of others. I finished up buying this film http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B006EKSS86?ref_=pe_385721_37038051_TE_3p_dp_1 It can be printed on using an ink jet printer, however once printed the ink can easily be smudged and rubbed off so I experimented with it and came up with this solution. The film comes with a removable backing paper that is removed after printing to expose the clinging side of the film. After I printed it I laminated the film with standard laminating pouches before removing the backing paper, after laminating I cut around the edge of the lamination and separated the two halves, the back lamination came away taking the backing paper with it and the front came away with the printed side sealed. I could then wet the reverse side with water/washing up liquid and apply to the window and using a credit card as a squeegee removed all the water and air bubbles and it stuck perfectly. It has now been up for a few weeks and it still looks as good as when I first did it. I am very pleased with the results.
