Just watched it and not many things bring the tears out but that was :'(

Quality programming though and the visuals were heartbreaking and breathtaking.

Anyone else watch it?

Yeah, I did :) and tbh it's the first of that series that felt right (If you know what I mean) .... Normally I just feel that the rich peeps are doing it for a bit of self satisfaction and looking for the gratification .... :thumbsdown: But this one just seemed 'more genuine' :thumbs:
 
I switched between the SSM and masters snooker final. Both very gripping.
Funny how the SSM's relatives were hardened to the poverty and considered the giving of money a waste of time.
Nice to see, as always, locals who weren't even off the poverty line giving freely of their time. That was, for me, the most moving aspect.

To be honest I'd never watched any of the other ones so couldnt compare. But she did seem very genuine and I think she chose to distribute the money in the correct way.:)

And yeah it was funny to see her relatives having a different POV. I dont know if we are all hardened to our own countries problems and outsiders probably have an all together POV. Saying that I dont think her family have ever visited the slums or the dumping ground.
 
Watched it, was really impressed. She donated a huge amount of money. £100,000 is a gigantic amount of money in India, especially for people featured in the program.

When I turned it on I thought it was just going to be some sort of cash-in based off the movie but actually it was quite the opposite.
