Hi

Does anyone know how I would go about finding out if there are any wedding photographers looking for a second shooter?

Ask them.

It's not something that's going to be advertised often. People generally use people whom they know and trust. So, start talking to people.

ask in the work wanted sub forum in business , also say something about your experience so far - people aren't going to want to take someone with no experience second shooting, so even if you've never done a wedding , presumably you'll have some experience of shooting people and portraits ?

also be prepared to travel, people are generally less inclined to train up potential competitors than they are to help those from out of their area

There is a group on Facebook specifically for people looking for 2nd shooters or asking to be a 2nd shooter.
