I recently acquired a Canon 85mm f/1.2 L II second hand. What a beast of a lens - but coupled with the R6 is very capable and after an initial test produces some great results.
The only problem is that there is some light but noticeable scratching on the surface of the aperture blades, and the edges of the 'petals' looks like the paint has worn off. Should I be concerned?
Re-looking at the aperture blades - with the lens mounted - it seems that the blades open and close momentarily when pointing the camera towards bright windows. Is there any other way to view them so I can take a photo.
Other than that, the lens is in really good condition, glass is perfect with only minimal dust.
I did get it for quite a steal at only £749, however it seems that the rubber coating is breaking down which appears to be a common issue. Does anybody have experience cleaning the remainder of the rubber material off the housing?
