Hi Chaps. I'm the sort of nerd that likes to keep tea/coffee separate from the milk till I need to put them together for a nice cuppa.
I'm looking for a small flask to keep milk cold, the smaller the better.
Do you have any recommendations, please? TIA

I use a 500ml stainless steel one from Asda ... similar to this one for a fiver.

Given the current temperatures milk keeps fresh for days in just a plastic bottle :)

Thanks for taking the time to post your answers guys.
I had looked at all the possibilities on Amazon before I posted here, but asked for recommendations because I found that some Amazon reviews stated problems with leaks and/or not keeping stuff cool. I didn't want my choice to be a lottery

My basic flask just has a solid screw in cap rather than the press button ones that seem to get stuck. I chose it because I only use it for milk and is much easier to clean a solid cap rather than the convoluted workings of the button ones!

Wow! this takes me back to the 50s when my bricklayer father had a flask that had a small separate compartment in the bottom with a glass milk jar in. The idea being that the top part of the flask kept the tea warm while the bottom kept the milk cool.

To be honest to a certain extent anything you buy is a lottery. The one I linked to has proved it's worth over 2+ years. I brought my wife one as well. It gets used for taking my coffee with me on my winter walks and cold drinks in the summer. When we go out for a day in the car, my flask has the milk in. We came back to the car last year after a walk and the car was ridiculously hot, but the milk was still fine.

We have a couple of Hydro Flasks which we take on holiday. A couple of ice cubes in fridge cold water/squash are still frozen after a day on the beach, even if the black flask is left in the full Cretan sun. Not sure how small their smallest ones are though.

Might be worth trying freezing the milk and keeping the plastic (NOT GLASS!) frozen bottles in an insulated holder. IIRC, skimmed milk freezes best but semi might work well enough.

I can't really help but my Mrs collects these things, she has a cupboard full of them and she looks for them in every shop we go in that's likely to have them.

Don't be like Mrs WW.

I don't bother now as I just put the milk in with the tea but years ago I used to take milk in a small plastic drinks bottle. As long as it's out of direct sunlight it'll be fine.

Thanks. I've added that to my basket :D

Are you sure it's MRS WW with the problem? :P
