SD Card to CF Card adapter

Has anyone used anything of the sort? I've got an abundance of SDHC cards but have recently made the move to a 7D rendering them useless, unless these are any good http://www.amazon.co.uk/SD-Card-CompactFlash-Adaptor/dp/B002F1SGDU

Just wanting to know if they're worth it really!

I brought that exact adapter for my Epson P-2000 media viewer so I could see my OH's photos on it as she had a SDHC... It works fine as the P-2000 was a CF fitment.... No probs what so ever..

For the price you cant go wrong really....

I used a similar adapter when I upgraded to a 7D. Mine was a Delkin, it worked, both in the camera and a card reader, but it was very slow, so slow, that I bought additional CF cards and no longer use the adapter. It's in my bag, unused, for the last year - "emergency" use only!

I'm off on a 3 week road trip across Europe in a few weeks so there's going to be a fair bit of camera use, not massively keen on shelling out for loads of expensive CF cards when i've got loads of SDHC's. To be honest I don't think i'll be shooting anything that's at a high fps, so i'll probably be ok with an adapter.

If you're only planning on taking individual shots, rather than anything sequential, then I think you will be OK with the adapter. I know what you mean about not wanting to buy a second batch of new cards, the cost soon mounts up.

I think it'll mainly be individual's, possibly some longer exposures but that doesn't bother me too much. Just for the volume of shots i'll be taking CF cards will get expensive!

They're not all mine, some are my dads who i'm doing the trip with.
