I've just found this link over on another forum.
http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2006240558,00.html

Im absolutely shocked at the level of not only violence, but unprovoked and unjustified violence.

I'll give you a warning now, only watch the video you are of the disposition to handle it.

Remind me why we don't have a death sentence again?
And why the hell can the 17yr old who's guilty of murder STILL not be named "for legal reasons"? He's guilty FFS, that shoudl be enough.

Too much goes on in this country to protect the guilty, and us innocents are paying the price day in day out, while the guilty run free.

Sickening. Just sickening.

OMG. That is really sick! Why did they do that?

My wife and I have just signed the petition.

Sickening is not the word.

Death Penalty - If they dont respect life why should they keep theirs, the kid wasnt even facing his attacker for christ sake, let alone provoking - literally makes you sick and boil with frustration that these scum are taking over society without anything being done to stop them:(

Signed

Political Correctness will be the end of this country im afraid !

Oooooh no cant say that someone might get upset ! No matter how true it is !

Anybody that takes a life deserves to lose theirs, whether thats death penalty or a proper jail sentence, none of this tv and nice soft blankets !

it is a very sad society indeed. Although the video didn't run for me, you only have to look around at some of the 'parents' to see why we are surrounded by morons, the parents are just too agressive nowadays, and this filters down to the kids also.

because our justice system is far from perfect. how'd u like to be put to death for something you didn't do... bad enough being locked up, but killed?

Disgusting. Absolutely bloody senseless. Petition signed

I don't think there's any doubt about the strength of the evidence in that case, or the identity of the offenders. ;)

I have no qualms about someone with so little regard for human life losing their's .... compliments of the state.

Speaking as someone who has actually taken another's life I can say that the taking of life is not something to be decided upon lightly. You simply cannot justify it in civilised society. Never mind all the problems that occur with miscarriages of justice (some people were hanged by mistake, there's no avaoiding that).
Better still is that a Life Sentence means just that - that they are removed from civilised society for the remainder of thier lives.
I take a great deal of comfort from the fact that Myra Hindley died in prison - for all her protestations that she had reformed her character and no longer posed a threat to society, she stayed locked up. And what was the one thing she wanted, craved even, more than anything else? To be let out. No. Even in a comfortable cell with satellite TV and all the ameneties available to her, she still craved freedom.
Keep them locked up forever.
Rot in Hell.

You are probably the only one on here that can comment on this area, and what you say makes perfect sense !

Is one of the reasons i said

Taking their life doesnt have to mean killing them, but it should be a guaranteed life term, or where is the deterrant ? If they know they will get out in 15 years, to some people thats not a problem, causes a few issues, but with life inside now quite comfortable, and they seem to be able to get whatever they want in there now, its not so harsh, they get visits from family etc ! This is a debate that will go on and on and on though so i will shut up now ! lol

Petition signed..........disturbing video.

Attacks like that are all so frequent and why:shrug:

I've just signed too.
Can't beleive such violence. If the poor victim had been fighting back such a thing would have been partly understood although not foregiveable. But the poor victim didn't even have any oppertunity to defend himself in what looks to be an unprovoked attack.
Waisting tax payers money on those three would be a crime too. Let em loose on an uninhabitable remote island and leave them to fend for themselves for as long as they can survive.

Awful story, but I feel uncomfortable of such videos being aired. With companies always fighting for market share, if News companies find this thing attracts big hits , where will this take us ?

I've signed the petition, but I don't need to see the video. I don't think any of us need to see it to convince us that stabbing somebody is wrong. I'm surprised (or am I?) that The Sun thinks any different. But as always, the tabloids are a law unto themselves.

I didnt watch it as i saw it on TV, didnt get much chance to switch over then either !

Not that it makes any difference, but I didn't watch it either. I had read about it in the papers and heard about it on the news.
And for what it's worth I think the b******s should hang.

I know people who have things like this on their phones.
When questioned about their morals, they laugh as they think its funny.

One of these days, something like this will happen to someone they know,
and I don't think they'll be laughing on that occasion.

I've added my name also.
