I have two small children and feel like running away with my family but there is nowhere to run too!

The age of consent is a legal line in the sand, which drives a moral compass.

It's ridiculous that we find ourselves protecting 'children' in one part of the world where they'd be bringing up families in another.

As communications and cheap travel have made the world smaller we see these issues elsewhere through our own very narrow world view.

The interesting moral dichotomy we have can be viewed with comparisons of age of consent vs age of criminal responsibility.

We (England and Wales) think that kids of 10 can make rational decisions about breaking the law but not about sexual activity until they're 16, what's more there was a massive outrage equalising the age of consent between heterosexual and homosexual sex.

The age of consent is as low as 14 in many European countries, I'm not saying it's right, I'm saying we need to be aware that 'right and wrong' on this issue isn't as black and white as it appears.

And not just that, a couple of 16yo can do it, but cant look at, or take pictures of themselves doing it!! Bit of a farce if you ask me.
