Screen bleed on Ipad 1.

Suddenly my Ipad 1 screen has developed a bleed problem. Tops and sides of images have a waterfall effect. Usually red or green. All black text is fringed in red. All white text fringed in blue. Anyone had the same problems and are there any resolution. The pad is now out of warranty.

Duff screen. Not much you can do other than replace the screen. (A worth while job? Unlikely).

However, it is likely to be a manufacturing defect, and if you can prove this, then the sales of goods act states you are entitled to a replace/repair from the retailer within 5(or 6?) years of purchase. So, read up on the SOGA, go back to where you purchased it from and quote the SOGA and see if you can get anywhere.
