Nice enough shot, seems to be balanced evenly. Perhaps a bit to much detail in the top right image, in the bottom right image there is a lot of brightness in the top of the hair and blending into the sky.
Is all that kit yours for your produce shot?
You really have got it bad haven't you?
Not sure it's quite working for me . . . I think it's all that black, some of the pieces seem to be blending into one another.
It's a good idea though, and so close to working perfectly.
Quad : I see you managed to persuade her to pose for you.
I don't know anything about portraits but they look good to me. Was she pleased with them?
Thanks Sarah. Yes it's all mine, but a lot of it is old film stuff that I don't really use any more. Ideally I would have set it in a boot sale, but was worried about carrying so much gear around or that people might think that it was all genuinely for sale.
The shots of my friend were just informal ones taken in the grounds of the building she lives in, but they were taken both so that I could practise my people photography, but also to give me the four images to compile my quad shot. She has kept a couple which I know she has already posted on her Facebook page, so I guess she was fairly happy with them.
I've still to tie her down to a more formal shoot - she keeps saying she needs to lose a bit more weight.
