Scanning xray hand luggage?

I'm going away tomorrow, and was wonder if any damage can be done to my equipment from being scanned in the hand luggage xray.
I will only be taking a digital body and lenses, no film.

You shouldn't have any problems. Our cameras were scanned more times that I can remember on our recent hols and we've suffered not one iota...

I cant wait. Since ive got my first job, it feels even better to go on holiday. I appreciate it more.
I will have to get used to taking pics, because my cameras been away for repair for the last few weeks, and is returned not even fixed in time for France. (the rubber stretched.)
