I not long since developed a 35mm HP5 at college and scanned the negs at home, after minimal manipulation (negative, contrast, levels and some noise reductions) Heres one of my favourites:
I took it last month on a rather wet and windy day from out of the car window (keeping dry and warm of course but window down for the shot) The road was flooded and running really fast like a river. I was pleased with the effect of the accidental dust and fibres picked up by the scanner they seem to give a very aged feeling. Looking forward to getting it onto a proper enlarger and making a true print.
Camera: Nikon EM
I wonder if anyone has some experience scanning negs what settings/techniques they use, the scanner i used is quite old and might not be up to the job i wanted. But i used 1500px and told it the source was a glossy photo with a sheet of white A4 paper to reflect the light back through the negs.
