I am just messing around in my front room with my flash gun and a shiny new 1.4 convertor. :thumbs: It's low light so I'm using a SB900 flash gun. My other half is quietly trying to watch Corrie on the "on demand" system via Virgin box. :cool:

The problem is this... The channel keeps changing all by it's self and jumping through every menu you can think of! Only when I'm taking pictures. Is my flash gun changing channels....? :cuckoo:
 
erm canon use infra red, do nikon too or are they visible light

unlikely but massive LOL points if it is doing it

The Flash is attached to the camera so it's TTL the infra red should not be a factor! I've now confirmed that it is the flash that changes channels and it's got me flummoxed beyond belief!

Can anyone who may have a Virgin box and a whopping big flash gun test this oddity with me?

Virgin box Model (Samsung SMT-2110C)
Camera (D300s)
Flash (SB900)

i'm about to set up my sb900's with a d300 for a portrait practice with my new lens.
I always turn the tv off when i set up in the living room, i have to try this with it on now :lol:
