I'm using SB800's & SB700's in remote mode and triggered with a SU800 commander on my D3.
Problem is the SB800's rapidly go in to standby mode so I physically have to go to them to wake em back up.
The 'standby' settings are not available in 'Remote' mode, how can standby be cancelled?!, can anybody share any advice.
I read the manual but it didn't answer what I was looking for.
(The SB700's do not go into standby when in 'remote' mode -built in feature I think)
Thanks in advance,
Rich

Its a pain but after the first fire of the shutter or attempted flash by your trigger it should waken up saving you having to go over to it. I had the same issue recently and intended looking in the menu to see if I could vary or switch off the sleep mode but as yet haven't looked.

The funny part of this is that I had exactly the same issue (with 622's) & hadn't got round to opening the manual again...

Thanks Jon.
