Having a lot of problems using my SB600's with my D300. I'm using the D300 pop up flash as a master and have set up the SB600's in CLS as remotes.

The problem is it fires for a number of shots and then starts playing up. Stops firing for a few shots and then starts again.
The setup is obviously OK otherwise it wouldn't fire at all
The only thing I've come across on various threads is taking it out of standy, but that option doesn't seem to be active in CLS only.
It's not the line of fire with the sensor either as it fires (or doesn't fire) with the camera and flash in the same position, including not firing even with the popup directly aimed at the sensor
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated as it's frustrating the hell out of me
