hello,i hope someone can help!i have been using elements 6 in windows.i am now on a mac.i have got lightroom 3,i did a bit of editing on an image, went to save it and couldn,t find a save command as in elements.i may be stupid! or do mac,s save differently?i look forward to your comments!!!! many thanks.

You don't need to save any changes you make to images in Lightroom... all edits are automatically saved as you make them.

You only need to export any image if you need to print it or upload to fb/web etc.

PS: when viewing the image you have edited (in Develop module), press the 'y' key to see a before and after version.

as others have said there is no save button in LR, changes are saved to the database as you make them. This is because, unlike any of the PS varients, LR uses non destructive editting, non of the actual pixels in your image are touched, the database just saves a set of instructions of things to do to them
