Saved curves layer to default?

ayup,
Using CS4, I've saved a custom curves layer that I would like to be the default whenever I open the curves palette. Every time it opens the "default" is there and I have to open and scroll down to find mine. Tried renaming it to "default" but it just joins the "custom" box and the original "default" loads up. Anyone????

I've tried to find a way to do this but have come to the conclusion it's not possible.

You might want to try Adobe's Photoshop forum to see if anyone there knows
