Looking to get these for my SB900. Can I use an existing battery charger for them or do I need to get one as the battery/charger combo.

Probably a silly question, cant see there being any difference between chargers but you never know?

Any NiMH battery charger will work AFAIK, the more expensive ones such as the BC900 (highly recommended btw) allow you to select charging speed, have built-in overcharge protection and various other handy features.

I am in the same position after running flat 2 sets of dry cells last night just getting to know the sb900 and the TTL modes:lol:

I have an older charger - But I think the BC900 is a good charger for nice new Eneloops - in my mind its a start right thing:thumbs:

BTW have you found a good place to get the Eneloops? would be interested to know how you go with these and the 900....

I use my existing nimh plug-in charger with my eneloops, seems to work fine :)

I use a basic plug in charger - it works fine but i don't know how long to leave it on for as it has no notification when the batteries are fully charged - thant BC900 mentioned above seems like a good solution... though just noticed they're not in stock until march.
