same price as the ultra II!

All the prices on that site are £17.99, because above £18 and you have to pay VAT when importing from the channel islands - its the same for 7dayshop etc.
 
thanks guy, just purchased the 1gb here, and too think jessops were trying to flog these for £79 to me yday!
 
Yes m8, I bought two of those in the summer, they've been flawless so far. :)

/edit I'd say they were really more like 80x but at those speeds who cares!
 
Jessops have the 2gig version at £119 if you buy an DSLR, they said it was a good deal to some bloke they were trying to sell a bit of kit to. I said to try mymemory to this bloke for your memory card requirements, and the lad serving said that is where he buys his cards from as it is better than jessops even with his discount. It made me laugh. When I got chatting with him he was saying that memory cards is where they tend to make the most on, in mark up terms, but lucky for them most people that come into the shop don't know about mymemory.
It pays to know or be pointed in the right direction by you lot.

sounds alot like when i went into jessops and they tried to flog me the 1gb for £79, after telling the guy serving me i could get it for £18 he looked amazed, heh.
 
Same price on Amazon as well, I bought two off there just before Xmas for £23 and then the buggers reduced them days later!!!
 
I printed off the price on Amazon for the Ultra III 2GB card to prove it was in stock at a UK location and took it to my local Jessops store. As they do a 110% price difference match, it was even cheaper in Jessops i.e. Jessops price £120 Amazon price £38, 110% of difference £38 - £8.20 meant less than £30 for the card.

Hope that makes sense....but it worked!

Are Jessops still doing the 110% price beat. Did you go in December or January? I'd heard they've stopped the offer.
 
Sorry all, i've just posted a similar thread re Mymemory. Having just bought a SD card from them there is a free software ket to Capture One which is supposed to be one of the best RAW convertors. I had heard that this offer was in the box but there is nothing advertising it on the packaging. My hunch worked as i do not have any RAW software & the full priced Captue One is $99.

Bargain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmmm... nuthin about any RAW software with the 2 CF cards I just bought off them ...
 
I'll back up the greatness of mymemory, and their 133x (claimed :D) CF cards, although I would probably get an Ultra II or Extreme III if they where the same price for the same size..

The Sandisk CF extreme III 1gb card arrived from Amazon on Friday, and includes the Phase One capture one LE activation voucher :) :D
