I managed to stuff up my back up on Saturday and lost files by copying the folders across the wrong way round. I then compounded my mistake by clearing the card I was going to use believing that it was downloaded and backed up. I found all but two of the folders on other cards which, fortunately, I did not have time to format. After attempting to find them via Time Machine - no use as my library is on a portable external drive- I was then told to try the Sandisk Recovery software. I have a code but it is from an as yet unused SD card. Will it work or is this code only valid for the card? This hijacked most of my day yesterday so any help would be appreciated.
