Awesome deal on at the moment at Amazon! £29.71 for 8GB CF Card. I use these already and wanted some spare so pick these up £5 cheaper than 3 days ago!

probably better off paying the 50p more and getting it from amazon rather than the marketplace seller - there's a LOT of fake sandisk cards about.

i found a Compact flash card on mymemory 266x 16gb, £21.00, i didnt check delivery though, but still a good price.

Ive never had a problem with lexar or kingston either - but you are right about the generic or unbranded cards

Alternatively, you could get the 30MBS 8GB card for £18 from Amazon. Don't think the speed helps for write time to the card, rather for read to PC (I may be wrong mind).

Thers a chap on eBay for the same price and free delivery. He had some 16GB for 39 but they went in a day. They are original as I checked the serial numbers and photos with scandisk who confirmed them to be fine and eligibal for the livetime quaranted.

Simple search will find them as I'm on the phone. They are not packaged though but new.

I also got one of the 8GB and came back from scandisk as original.
