SamYang 8mm on a Fuji X body

Hi guys, I’ve just bought a Samyang 8mm lens and I am not able to take a photo when it’s attached to my Fuji X-T5 nor my X-A7.
It’s a manual lens which is ok, but why won’t the shutter fire?
What am I not doing?
Any help is very much appreciated

Enable "Shoot WIthout A Lens" in Menu - it allows the camera shutter to fire without thout accessing teh electronic contacts.
