Hi,

I want to buy the lens on MFT M43 mount . Main purpose is for northern light shoot in photo, i do not really do video. Obvious choise is the f2.8. But you can get a T3.1 for £230 while the f2.8 goes for at least £100 more. Any reason not to buy the T3.1?

Sharpness, ease of focus should be similar?

Thanks

I don't know about the M4/3 version, but I bought a new 10mm f2.8 Fuji X mount version from Fototip in Poland last month for £180.

Yes fototip too, they do not have the 2.8 in MFT. I just went for it and bought the T3.1 at £232. Hopefully it will do the job nicely.
It's by far my cheapeast option for a 10mm 2.8 MFT lens. If i could i would by the laowa 7.5 f2 but it twice the price. Or I could by a tokina 11-18 f2.8 nikon/canon or a saymyang 14mm 2.8 nikon/canon and use a speedbooster but that expensive and convoluted.

Also I don't know if i'm right but if i look online:

-The samyanf 10mm f2.8 MFT look like a samyang 10mm f2.8 which a fairly large adapter stuck to the back

-The samyang 10mm T3.1 MFT look like it doesn't have that bulky adapter stuck to the back which would be a nice thing.

So let's hope it come in the compact shape, if it doesn't i do not really mind but if it does it will be a bonus!
