Samsung tab2 7inch problem

Hi

I have an issue with my Samsung tab2 7inch, just wondering if anybody else has had the same. With out warning the screen goes blank, then restarts.
There is no shut down warning just instant off,but reboots straight away, it is still under warranty but if its something I can sort or try before having to send it back and return to factory settings then that would be good.

could be overheating, could be something else.

First step would be to reset the device and see if the problem persists, if it does then off for repair

I have backed up the apps using a free backup app of google play.which saves them to the external sd card, if I remove the sd card (in case anything gets wiped) then do a full factory reset, then re down load the same recover app will that then put it back as it was. Or does it only put the apps back on without the settings I have already made to the individual apps.
