Hi all anybody ever had one of these beauties and then done the tragic thing? Forgotten the un- lock password?

As far as I know, the drive is unreadable without the password and the data cannot be recovered.

As above i think you will have to do an factory reset

I have struggled to find a contact for Samsung support on this

Just an update Samsung support have been in touch and a generated format code should be with me tomorrow

No....that is not the lesson...really...no.
Should be obvious what the lesson should really be imho

For anyone else that has this problem and then upgrades to windows 10 you may need to go to disk management and rename the drive as it seems to get lost!
