Same file looks different in different programs

Hi All,

I have a pic that I have edited and saved as a Tiff, approx 45 mb in size. However, this file looks has very different colours depending on what program I use to look at it. If I use Irfan view the colours look washed out, in PS they look much more vivid.

I want to get this photo printed so I want to be sure I know what it's going to look like. Any idea why this is happening?

What did you edit it in? It sounds like a colour managment issue, some programs (like PS) are colour managed some aren't, I don't use IF so I don't know if it is or not.
