Safe Clothing For Wire Wool Spinning?

To be honest, I've never burnt anything when spinning. Darker clothes are considered a good bet, in that you would be less likely to show up clearly in the shot if you are wearing clothes that blend into the ambient dark better.
Maybe worth wearing a hat, and I find a glove can help to prevent blisters

Anything but Nylon, this melts and burns very easy. First time i was spectating froma good distance and a stray spark hit my tshirt still have the hole to remind me !

normal wear is a dark hoody and combat work type trousers. gloves and hat if cold. Most important thought is some form of eye protection !

As a (former) professional fire spinner (yes - really!):

- Cotton/Denim - long sleeved
- A hat (to protect your head/hair rather than keep you warm)
- I never bothered with gloves

You'll get quite hot, so a jacket is possibly overkill.

Have a damp towel on hand to put them/you out if things go wrong.

If you're using paraffin to improve the burn time (not always needed), make sure all fuel is covered and a LONG way from where you'll be spinning.

And by mindful of the wind.

I personally never bothered with eye protection - the sparks are always going away from you, and anything on your eyes might be more of a nuisance than a help.

Avoid almost all synthetics! I used to do a fair bit of fire juggling and that advice was given to me by the shop where I bought the fire clubs. I usually just wore a T-shirt and jeans when I was playing with fire but there weren't any sparks to worry about. Being a sensible chap, I always made sure I had some burn cream in the bag just in case - luckily (or was it pure skill?!!!) I never needed it.

when we went wool spinning as a group every one brought a bottle of water(2ltr) just in case!!! no problems though :)

Only one set of eyes Tom. Can easily buy more clothes!

Cotton/Wool are fine for fire but as mentioned, synthetics aren't much fun near a fire ;)
