As Rob has already reported on the deaths of 5 brave lads in Afghanistan, We have just heard that one of the lads was our sons trainer at Catterick garrison and a good mate to William, keeping him up to date on facebook as to what was going on.

Always very sad news, but even moreso if the deceased is someone known to you (I knew two of the XV230 crew). :(
 
My thoughts are with family and friends of all who have passed away serving our country.

They really are heroes in my book, all of them who are still on this earth plain and those who aren't.

RIP Sgt Walker and all those who have perished serving our country..
