Sad day for me...

Well, after much thought, I have decided to sell a large part of my photographic gear. I have hardly had chance to use 90% of it over the last couple of years, and don't see this changing anytime soon. I will be keeping my RX100M5 for a few shots, and possibly one of my Fuji bodies with the 18-55. But the rest will be going up for sale.

I'll more than likely end up selling lenses to MBP for the hassle free sale (in my previous experience) but i will list some other bits on here, mostly for collection. I'm sure in future I will be getting back into this properly again, but probably with a different system, more than likely a MF Fuji.

I'll still be adding stuff to the site, and I'm not sure why I felt the need to write this, but anyway....

I'll probably start adding some bits in the classifieds in the next week or so.

Sorry to hear that Rick, but I guess sometimes you've just gotta do what you've gotta do. Still at least for the time being you'll still maybe post some stuff on the RX100 thread that I'll certainly be pleased to see. Good luck with whatever you decide to do in the future.

You're probably right.

I've "given up" at least 3 times in the last 50 years and each time found myself sliding back into it. Selling the old stuff has, on each occassion, given me a pleasant feeling of release and, after a while, refreshed my interest in photography.

I've given up a few times and keep coming back, but there's just so much going in in life just now. I still don't feel like I have my ideal camera though.
