Hi all,
I currently have an LX7 (tried an LX100 a few years back but was not impressed) and have just bought a RX100 M4.
I was using the RX100 to take a few close up shots of various items (including the LX7) and I noticed that it would take a shot even when there was no focus lock (that I could see).
With my LX7 - if I try to take a close up shot and there is no focus lock, mostly, the display goes Red and the camera wont take the shot - just beeps at me.
But the RX100 does not seem to care and just goes ahead and takes blurry shots...
The above is in Auto mode for both cameras...
Is this normal - or is there a setting I can enable/disable? I have purchased the Alexander White guide to the RX100 M4 and am slowly working through it - but not found a relevant setting yet.
Any replies appreciated.
