RX100 III Viewfinder Usefulness?

As per the title.
After Cataract surgery , my distance vision is fantastic but I need reading glasses to see a camera lcd. I love my RX100MkII but eying up a shot then having to put on glasses to check /change settings is a pain.
Is the viewfinder on the MkIII any good for general photography?

Also considering the LX100 so interested to hear any opinions on that viewfinder too

Tried one for a minute in a shop so maybe wait for someone who has one to confirm, but for me it was tiny!

Same as JYC for me. I thought it was tiny too, so went for a Canon G7X. I am the opposite to the OP. I have rubbish distance vision and am reaching the point where I need glasses for reading. I find I use my glasses to eye up the shot and then look over then to view the screen!
