Like many of you no doubt I have more camera bags than anybody could possibly justify but I could do with another!

I travel more and more for work and I'd like a hand luggage sized rucksack that can comfortably swallow my chunky 17" laptop a little bit of paperwork, my Olympus OMD camera and maybe 2 or three small prime lenses. Ideally a little room left over for bits and bobs.

I've looked around a bit for ideas and from what I can gather most bags of this ilk have pretty large compartments for camera gear which my stuff is going to rattle around in. Anybody got any pointers? Budget isn't fixed but I was assuming around £50-£100.

I would suggest that you perhaps consider looking for a combination of a generic laptop backpack and a small shoulder bag that you can put inside it that holds your system.

That's definitely crossed my mind. Cheers

Have a look at the Lowepro Fastpack series, I use one and it has the right breakdown of compartment sizes you are looking for.

Thank you. I did take a look at those earlier and not seen a better option yet. On;y drawback is that I'd need to go for the 350 version to fit my laptop. That has a pretty big camera section more akin to larger DSLR's but I'm starting to think I could probably configure that to use a lot of that section for general gubbins rather than camera stuff. Definitely an option.
