Yes
Bought the components and built my new PC recently and downloaded 'ASUS PC Diagnostic' utility, I ran it last night and again today (after a fresh reboot) and on both occasions it reported the same two faults . . . 1) RTC accuracy test (failed). . . 2) USB/USB XHCI compliant host connector/root hub (port 15) VID.0000,PID.0000. unspecified connection failed. I only purchased the board on 5th Nov, and built the system around the 8th or 9th, I'm running Windows 10 64bit and to be honest while not disappointed, i'm not overly impressed with the performance (the graphics accelarator has failed and reset a few times while playing Solitaire). Im not sure whether this is something I should be overly concerned with or if maybe it can be resolved with a simple bios setting etc.

does the bios time match windows?

RTC accuracy suggests the clock is wrong, perhaps as a result of a failing CMOS battery.

the USB/USB XHCI compliant port one, try redoing the test with different peripherals plugged into certain ports and see if you can trace it to a particular port and/or device.

The RTC accuracy test is interesting. RTC is Real Time Clock if you hadnt already guessed. Not known for their accuracy .. they can drift by quite a bit. I would be interested to know what the accuracy test entails ... The BIOS could theoretically be comparing the RTC with an external time source, if there's an ethernet connection. I've never heard of that though. Alternatively, the date/time has been reset to default values, in which case as Neil says, BIOS battery is not properly connected or duff. Third possibility is that the BIOS is able to test the time keeping ability of the RTC during POST ... it would surprise me if that were the case but its not impossible. BIOS batteries (CR2032) are a couple quid for a decent one. Change battery. Set clock in BIOS. Reboot. See what happens. Power off and disconnect mains for thirty minutes. Reconnect. Boot. Again see what happens.

Second issue sounds like a dodgy USB device. Disconnect every USB device and front USB ports etc except keyboard. Reboot. Try a different keyboard. Wired, not wireless.

Graphics problem could be any number of things. If the card was very recently released, or is an older/less mainstream card then it is possible the Windows 10 drivers are not stable yet. You could test stability without the card. Try Windows 7. Ensure card is securely seated and powered. Graphics cards can be more susceptable to PSU issues too so you could try a spare power supply. Or trawl through the event logs - you should see something under the administrative view, system or WHEA Event Logger. Typing the error message into a search engine may yield something useful.

If you are concerned about overall performance you can try benchmarking it. https://www.passmark.com/products/pt.htm

Ok I cheked the time on both the bios and the operating system, both were around 20 mins behind (but they matched) so I set it right and left the PC switched off for 48 hours, during which it retained the correct time, So I suppose it's nothing to be concerned about. As for the XHCI issue, the error relates to port 15, I found a line which states port 15 is associated with usb.1112, which according to the Mb illustration is one of three internal connectors for adding an additional rear usb 2.0 port, so again I suppose it's nothing to be too concerned about?

If you've take the obvious step of disconnecting every non-essential USB device, it might be worth putting in a support call with the manufacturer - see what they say.

Hy i have the exact problem with port 15. Did you figure it out where the problem is.?I talked with asus, intel, microsoft, no dice. This is the second motherboard with the same problem.

Not sure which board you have but mine's an ASUS G97-A USB 3.1 and I've determined that port 15 relates to one of the three internal usb 2 expansion ports, I haven't really bothered looking for a fix as the board already has more usb 3 ports than I'm likely to need.

As for the RTC accuracy failure, it doesn't seem to have any adverse effect on my systems speed, reliability or accuracy etc. so again I haven't been too concerned.

I have a asus maximus vii hero and before i had ranger but and i have exactly the same problem. I don't have problem with RTC just with Usb port problem. So this is an production problem?
