After seeing this nifty little feature in Lightroom, it got me wondering. Surely a similar feature would be available in Photoshop somewhere?

Basically, as I suffer from WSS (Wonky Shot Syndrome), I usually have to rotate each shot a tiny bit. This results in exposed areas of canvas.

I think have to crop the shot to take these blank canvas bits off the corners.

Is there a way of rotating and doing the cropping automatically?

If you select the crop tool without any sizing, drag a VERY narrow rectangle against the horizontal or vertical you want to crop against. Once you release the cursor you can rotate the crop marks (move your cursor to one of the corners of the crop lines until it changes into a rounded arrow) so they are parallel with the axis you want. Then just drag the outside edges of your crop out until you are happy & hit OK.

Ahhhhh a rotating crop....Thats clever!

Cheers mate I'll give that a whirl :)
