Rolleiflex Help in the Northwest.

Somebody was asking me if I could show them how to use a Rolleiflex camera, I was honest and said that I could not, but that I would ask on here.

The guy was left the camera by his Grandfather and has no idea how to use it,he is not a forum or camera club sort of person,but would be willing to pay somebody for a couple of hours tuition to get him started. He lives in Accrington,Lancashire.

Anyone willing to get him on his way?

Its pretty easy really. No different than using any other MF.

If he needs to have a chat on the phone, I'll be very happy to talk to him. ( No payment etc, it will be a pleasure)

I think a chat on the phone will get him 80% there; and if he still needs some more help, he can go to an old camera shop and he will easily be sorted.

If he wants to get himself down to Saddleworth lancs. I will give him some pointers. I used Rolleiflexes from the 50's to the 90's when I sold my last one.

I shoot a rolli & a Mamiya both TLR. More than willing to show how to use them.
Phone calls good but in person is better.
