Rollei hoods and filters

I have a Rollei TLR which is bay-1 mount for filters and hoods but seems unable to accept a filter and a hood at the same time. This is a bit of a problem because it flares like nobody's business when the sun hits the lens. The filter (actual Rollei brand) fits fine. The hood itself is Yashica brand and fits on the outer bayonet mount. It is presumably bay-1 as it fits, albeit a bit shakily. It has too narrow a ring on it to pass over the filter or allow the filter to pass through. Can anyone recommend another means of mounting a lens hood and use a filter at the same time? The cheap plastic bay 1 filters on Ebay mount on the internal (filter) bayonet so are no good and I don't really want to pay £20-40 for an older metal hood to find no improvement.

Cheers!

Get a bay 1 to 52mm and then use your standard filters and hoods attached.

I think at 49mm and 52mm you will be OK, have a measure.
