Rodinal or not

Since the demise of Agfa there have been several generic versions of their iconic developer - Rodinal, non of which appear to be the same as the original with its legendary keeping qualities. Does anyone know what is the closest version to that manufactured by Agfa?

I use Fomadon R09 which I am happy with. It comes in a relatively small bottle and keeps just fine. I've read various discussions about the chemistry of the variations which just leave me wondering which rant to believe. At the moment I incline to believing there isn't much to choose between them.

If you particularly want a long lived developer, HC-110 seems pretty good too.
