Here we go,

Now i've just returned from a new year break in London and this morning nicked a couple of my time hours to wonder around shooting. Also meet up with a fellow member to deliver a lens.

On my way back to the hotel shot this at the Embankment tube station whilst waiting for my train and think it fits the theme.

So, No real thought went into the theme. Little tweak in lightroom.

Waited as long as possible for a empty shot, but the lady at the bottom right step back into the shot as i clicked and then the area was swamped.

Rob.

very nice...

I like it, my eyes seem to want to see it as a disc when I look at the center.

Super interpretation of the theme, love the way it goes on into infinity, great!

Great chance for a perfectly symetrical shot, would have loved to see the end of the tunnel dead centre. Still a very interesting shot with lots to make yours eyes wander.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Rob.

Cant help but be drawn into that.
Nicely done :)

:( Not showing for me for some reason

But welcome to the 52 anyway Rob.

Thanks Sarah,

Pass as to why it vanished  just added again.

Rob.

Looks really good, well done.

I love shots that draws your eyes in to the image and this image certainly does that! A brilliant interpretation of the theme and very original.
BTW, what time was this image taken? Never seen Embankment so dead! Hopefully the 'camera police' didn't get you either as you must surely have been planning a terrorist attact taking pictures inside a tube station! ;)

It was taken at approx 11:15-11.30 am, quite funny really, cos i had camera out, walked around the corner and a tube guy was there, went to put camera away and he said it was ok, but no flash.

I disagree. I think the asymmetry (spelling?) with the 2 little signs on the left, really make the shot. However, I would probably have tweaked the levels to brighten it slightly.

That's a nice picture.
It's got such a lot of depth. You could almost walk through it.

Great shot Rob and thanks for letting me know that it was back up.
Definitely one I wouldn't want to miss.

Amazing sense of perspective in this one - I love the way that the tunnel pulls your eye in and the B&W works really well.
I can't even really see the woman in the background, so you pulled off your empty shot after all.

Very well executed Rob I have tried to take a photo and take it dead central and :FAIL: So I can appreciate how difficult the type of shot could have been for you.

Very nicely balanced image with sympathetic processing. Amazing that you managed to grab it empty. Watch out for werewolves though.

Nice shot, works well in b+w, I had to seaarch for the woman in the bottom right of the shot so I don't think it's an issue. Would like to see a big version if you have a link to it.

I really like that. Excellent shot, loads to look it and mono works really well

A good start, but what's happened to weeks 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8...?
