Off out tonight on the Rali Llyn. Photographed this before using a manual flash and that was easy, but the Sigma flash on my Fuji is nowhere near that easy!

Will either variant of Nikon TTL be any use whatsoever or am I going to spend the rest of the afternoon scratching my head on how to get the thing to behave properly?

Any advice welsome, the head scratching has begun! :)

Well I've never used one, but a quick look at the manual and it looks like it's set exactly the same as on similar manufacturer guns. Set Manual on the flash and then set the output as a fraction of the max output. The LCD gives you a clue as to the amount of power required for your shooting distance.

You really can't use the TTL modes because the cars lights play havoc with the metering.
