RIP Tim Brooke Taylor

Very sad to hear of his passing :(

The Goodies were a delightfully anarchic program/bunch of guys in my younger days, so what a legacy to mark his life for many :)

Very funny man. RIP.

That one sort of stopped me in my tracks when I heard it on the radio today.

Grew up with the Goodies, listened to him on Radio 4's I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue many many times, RIP TBT.
Me too, a sad loss :sorry:

Made me think of all the Goodies songs :D

If anyone has the time it's well worth not only listening but also watching the vids on youtube.

I remember Wild Thing and as far as I remember the episode the crowd, all going wild, were all police.

Sad news. TBT also took part in ISIRTA (I'm Sorry I'll Read That Again) along with Graeme Garden & Bill Oddie, this is where the notion that he was gay began. ISIRTA also had John Cleese when not involved with Monty Python. Described as a radio custard pie with awful puns and mildly smutty humour.
Did he voice Lady Constance?

There were many ISIRTA/Goodies numbers such as Black Pudding Bertha, Taking my Oyster for Walkies, Sick Man Blues, There's a Walrus in my Soup

I love The Goodies where I have most of their episodes on DVD, 5 books and a couple of CDs, so the passing of the lovely Tim Brooke Taylor is very sad news.

Really enjoyed the Radio 4 tribute to Tim this evening - some reminders of a few of his excellent way with words.

EG: having to "mime" a film title on radio.

When given "Dirty Harry" he simply said

"Potter! Don't do that..."

I missed that, I'll try to listen on catch up if I get the chance. I liked Tim's gentle humour.
