RIP Dame Vera Lynn

RIP Dame Vera Lynn.

My dad had the greatest of respect for her, she was one of the very few celebrities to visit the “Forgotten Fourteenth Army” in Burma where dad was stationed.
 
A very fine lady. She did a great deal of charity work, much of it connected with ex service people.
I always enjoyed hearing her sing.
